Your mission is to raise money for your amazing organization. So is ours – so we try to make it as easy as possible to achieve that important goal.
We are with you and will support you every step of the way! From helping schedule a perfect calendar slot, creating an easy ordering website and providing a custom QR code and PDF order form, and even packaging and labeling orders for distribution – running a Blue Barn Fundraiser is one of the easiest solutions on the market.
- Work with our team to find an available two-week fundraising event window. We strive to avoid having multiple organizations in the same town running concurrently to help maximize your success.
- Once your date is secure, build some excitement in your organization. We even have some pdf flyers, videos, email templates, and social media posts to help your efforts!
- We get to work on our end, building your private weblink with all the awesome available products, creating a custom QR code you can share for easy link sharing, and creating a pdf of a paper order form you are welcome to utilize for your group (the paper forms tend to work best for youth organizations. Adult organizations generally opt for online-only ordering)
- At the conclusion of the two-week period, we tally up all the online orders and get sourcing and packing. Any paper orders would need to be delivered to us, along with any collected funds, as quickly as possible so we can begin fulfilling orders.
- Allow 3-4 weeks after the conclusion of the event for orders to be fulfilled. For large organizations (schools, etc.) we will set up a delivery date to your location. For smaller organizations (i.e. clubs, sports teams, etc.) we will arrange a convenient date for you to come by our facility to pick up the order. All orders will be bagged/boxed and labeled for easy distribution.

What type of organizations are permitted?
If you want to work with us to raise money for a good cause, we want to help. We often work with schools, student organizations, mission work, sports teams, and other community organizations. We love to help turn the wheels of progress for groups making a difference in our community.
Do we need to be a registered 501c3?
You do not need to be a 501c3 to participate. Blue Barn does reserve the right to decline to host an event for scheduling reasons or significant conflicts of moral interest.
How much of the donations do we receive?
Sponsoring organizations receive a check for proceeds generated from the event. It typically amounts to 25-28% of sales. 25% of every sale is immediately donated, with a few incentives for large events to get up to 28%. We also offer “round up” options on every item, with 100% given directly to the sponsoring organization (we eat the 3% credit card fee!). Same for any “donations” through the site – 100% is passed through. A typical event will see 35-40% of the funds collected being given.
We do our best to offer all our products at normal, reasonable store prices. We’ve found that to be the most effective way, as opposed to charging an overly-high price to increase the donation percentage slightly.
We also highly value all our local craftsmen, farms, and family partners and pay them a reasonable wholesale price for their products.
Not only are we supporting local organizations through donations, but we are also aiming to pump millions into the small businesses in our amazing community. Together, we all achieve greater success!
